Set amongst the picturesque countryside of a stunning pocket of rural Wiltshire, this charming cottage has been renovated from top to bottom with our partners at Thorncombe.

As a second home, our clients wanted to improve the existing house but with a fixed budget in mind. Decisions on where to spend the budget were central to our decision making and we concluded that replacing the flooring throughout was a top priority, alongside the complete renovation of the two bathrooms. We also reconfigured some of the ground floor space to create a new utility room, larger boot room and a dining area.

We introduced a timeless mix of natural materials, organic textures and a calm powdery paint scheme. We sought out interesting antique pieces to add character to the open plan living space and used handmade textured rugs to define the areas. New lighting throughout and bookshelves made in-house all add to the layered and coherent interior.
